Stagecoach logoStagecoach is a well-established national school of performing arts with schools in Teddington and Twickenham run by husband and wife team Will and Sarah Chitty, who both have extensive experience in performing and teaching. They love to bring out the best in every child through the wonderful world of drama, dancing and singing.

Stagecoach Twickenham TeddingtonWill, Sarah, and their team are passionate about using performing arts to stretch imaginations and build essential life skills including communication, coordination, confidence and creativity. They believe the power of creativity and can help children to flourish. Both schools are busy and vibrant, working on productions such as Wicked, The Wizard Of Oz, and Little Shop of Horrors, and taking part in external performances, concerts, workshops and backstage tours. Their aim is to go beyond expectations to make Stagecoach an inspiring and exciting place to be! Classes include Early Stages (4-6yrs), Main Stages (6-18yrs), and Further Stages (14+yrs):

Early Stages: Students aged 4-6 years old grow in confidence and develop lifelong skills as they learn in a fun and welcoming environment. Classes last 90 minutes and include 30-minute sessions in singing, dancing and drama. Singing sessions focus on rhythm, timing and how sounds are formed; dance sessions give shy children confidence to try out new steps, and boisterous youngsters an outlet to burn excess energy learning funky moves; acting sessions incorporate role play, improvisation and storytelling. Students discover the importance of friendship and teamwork, and find new ways to express their feelings.

Stagecoach Twickenham TeddingtonMain Stages: Stagecoach sparks the imaginations of children and teenagers aged 6-18 years old, and helps them discover their strengths through creative and engaging performing arts. Classes last three hours, with students split by age into small groups working on singing, dancing and acting. Over three terms they learn key skills, then practice and hone these skills, to ultimately perform in front of friends an family. Students enjoy a wide variety of performance styles, helping them grow in self-esteem and develop their creativity and social skills.

Further Stages: NEW in Twickenham – a Youth Theatre Company for children aged 15+ years old, with advanced classes to challenge and inspire creative courage, including master classes with industry professionals, West End opportunities, exclusive RADA awards, LAMDA and more!

Stagecoach also runs holiday clubs, where students have fun, develop great new skills, and then join together to showcase their new-found singing, acting and dancing skills to family and friends.
