Ed Stembridge NewU PT

If you’re looking for a fantastically qualified, dynamic personal trainer to put you through your paces, then check out Ed Stembridge, also known as NewU PT. Ed offers personal one-to-one or small group (4-6 people) training across the whole TW area. What’s unique about Ed is the extensive fitness and sports background that he brings to sessions. He is trained in strength and conditioning, is Level 3 REPs (Register of Exercise Professionals) qualified, and has played for some of the best known rugby teams in the area, including Saracens, London Scottish and Richmond RFC. This means he can make training effective but fun, using a range of enjoyable games and exercises to develop tailored programmes to achieve his clients’ goals.

Ed is able to teach pre and postnatally and has has worked extensively with mums. He tends to find that mums are interested in working on their fitness to deal with their hectic lifestyles and keep up with the kids, strengthening their core, and improving flexibility to allow for a full range of movement (you no longer need to be envious when you see your kids squatting with ease or biting their toenails!). Ed helps them reach their weight and fitness goals through a combination of conditioning, boxing, circuit and cardiovascular training, with a focus on correct form and technique.

One-to-one sessions are tailored specifically to the individual’s needs, and can also focus on any weaknesses and injuries. Group sessions are a cost-effective alternative, and small group sizes still allow for individual attention. Ed will make sure that everyone works hard and is not allowed to hide at the back! Training sessions take place in local parks or homes, or indoor sessions are offered at St Mary’s University in Twickenham. Ed is very happy for kids (and pets!) to tag along to training sessions, and he supplies all equipment that may be needed, including mats.

To find out more, you can contact Ed via email at edwardstembridge@hotmail.co.uk, or call him on 07828 545694.
