Bright Beginnings LogoBright Beginnings opened a second Twickenham nursery in 2015, in what used to be the Welcare building on Twickenham Green. It offers a truly lovely environment full of natural light, and features an amazing sensory studio complete with fibre optic lighting and sensory wall panels, as well as a massive indoor sandpit for the kids to enjoy whatever the weather! The nursery takes up to 72 children between the ages 3 months to 5 years..

Bright Beginnings Nursery Twickenham GreenBright Beginnings has two other nurseries in Twickenham and Hampton, including the largest baby unit in Twickenham. They therefore bring a wealth of local experience to the new opening. Their approach is all about creating a partnership between parents, children, and the nursery, and they provide a friendly atmosphere where children learn in a secure, fun and stimulating environment.

Bright Beginnings Nursery Twickenham GreenThe nursery looks amazing. It has large, bright rooms, a separate sleep room for the babies, and of course its unique indoor sandpit and sensational sensory studio. Bright Beginnings also has an excellent settling-in procedure to make sure that all children feel welcome and involved with life at the nursery. All of the children follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, which covers seven areas of learning: communication & language; physical development; personal, social & emotional development; literacy; mathematics; understanding the world; and expressive arts & design. The children are grouped into three ages:

  • Babies (3 months – 2 years): Babies’ development is stimulated through books, physical activities and messy play, in a home-from-home environment with lots of play, love and cuddles!
  • Toddlers (2 – 3 years): Activities include language development, creativity, messy play, role-playing, numbers and phonics.
  • Pre-schoolers (3 – 5 years): Some activities are split according to age or ability, but children come together for creative and physical play, and for PSED (personal, social and emotional development).

Bright Beginnings Nursery Twickenham GreenThe staff at Bright Beginnings are chosen for their integrity, energy and enthusiasm for childcare, and have all been through a rigorous selection and vetting procedure (including police checks). • “I have registered my son to start in this new nursery. I am really excited about it and so is he. He really enjoyed the facility, the huge sand pit, activities proposed… The Manager was really nice, and I really liked the way the nursery is organised separating all type of activities and age of the children. It is just in front of the Green to enable the children to spend time outside twice a day. Really enthusiastic about it!” Lisou (via Facebook)

  • “I have registered my baby boy here and am very excited about him going. It’s very bright and airy and I agree that the sensory room looks great. It’s all very new and shiny looking (not sure how long it will stay that way once our little terrors are let loose in there!) and the facilities look great. Recommend a visit if you are looking for somewhere and live in the Green area.” Any (via Facebook)

  • “My 1 year old is starting at the new Green location in July. It is an absolutely beautiful setting, with a great open plan layout and loads of natural light. The different activity zones for the babies are going to be great.. from the sensory room to the soft play zone. And wait until you see the fab indoor sand pit on the top floor! Really looking forward to such a stimulating and fun environment.” Bee (via Facebook)

  • “I have recently registered my son at this nursery. The setting and facilities are absolutely fantastic. The baby setting includes a fab sensory room and large area to play and learn. When my son is older I am sure he will love the bright and engaging space provided for 2+, I was really impressed with indoor sand pit and ICT room. Really looking forward to the nursery opening!” Nikki (via Facebook)
