Annie Jr. Auditions! 

With a fabulous win at the Arts Richmond Swan Awards and the announcement of a fantastic Spring Term show it has been another exciting month at Dramacube!

Dramacube AnnieThis year, auditions for Dramacube’s Spring term show, Annie Jr, will be held on Sunday 24th November from 10.30am-1.00pm at Hampton Hill Theatre. Auditions are run in workshop format and are great fun for all involved. Participants will learn a song from the show, and work on short scenes and movement in small groups.

Dramacube AnnieThis much-loved show is brimming with fun and frivolity! With unforgettable characters such as Miss Hannigan, ‘Daddy’ Warbucks and Rooster, and catchy tunes including ‘Hard Knock Life’, ‘Maybe’ and of course ‘Tomorrow’, this tale has everything it takes to charm the hardest of hearts. It will bring as much joy to the parents watching as it will to the young performers.

Artistic Directors, Matthew Bunn and Stephen Leslie will head up the production, supported by Choreographer, K’ja Young-Thomas and Musical Theatre Teachers, Dani Bond and Abbey Mordue.

Dramacube AnnieAnnie Jr goes into weekly rehearsal from the middle of January, with technical, dress rehearsal and performances taking place w/c Sunday 15th March. It will then be staged at the impressive Hampton Hill Theatre from the 19th – 21st March 2020. Dramacube looks forward to seeing you there!

Finally, a huge congratulations to Dramacube student, Adam Gaunt, who won the award for Best Boy Actor at the Arts Richmond Swan Awards for his portrayal of Edmund in Dramacube’s 2018 Christmas production of The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe.
