Friday 16th – Sunday 18th November

  • – 6.00-8.30pm (Friday) & 10.00am-5.00pm (Saturday & Sunday): Sparkle Contemporary Craft & Gourmet Food Fair, Teddington
  • Landmark Arts Centre, Ferry Road TW11: Your sparkling festive season starts here! See and buy a dazzling range of contemporary work from more than 70 designer makers including jewellery, glass, ceramics, stylish accessories and so much more, plus a mouth-watering selection of gourmet food. Hundreds of bright and bold gift ideas. Entry £4.00 per person (under 18s free).

Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th November

  • – 12.00pm-5.00pm: Christmas Shopping Weekend, Orleans House Gallery
  • Riverside, Twickenham TW1: With over 25 designers, makers and artisans, festive music, food and activities for the whole family, the ever popular Christmas Shopping Weekend returns to Orleans House Gallery.Stylish affordable gifts and accessories, designer home-wares, toys, books, cards, artworks, luxury chocolate, mulled wine and music. Free entry.

Saturday 24th November

  • – 10.30am-2.30pm: Festive Craft Fair, Teddington Baptist Church
  • Church Road, Teddington TW11: Enjoy a family friendly start to the festive season with plenty to get you in the festive spirit. Over 20 stalls with a range of professional designer/makers including art, textiles, Christmas decorations, natural cosmetics, jewellery, ceramics, children’s items and handmade chocolates. Mill Cottage Farm Experience’s fluffy alpacas and pigs, sheep, turkeys and ducks will be waiting outside to meet visitors. There is a free fun activity trail for children to follow as well as a dedicated inside area with crafts and activities. Free entry.
  • – 11.00am-4.30pm: Normansfield Christmas Craft Fair, Normansfield Theatre
  • Langdon Down Centre, 2A Langdon Park, Teddington TW11: Wonderful annual Christmas Craft Fair with a wide selection of all handmade decorations, prints, jewellery, gifts, cards, ornaments and more. It’s an ideal place for Christmas shopping. Coffee shop open all day with a children’s art/craft activity table where they can make a small decoration; and a tombola. Free entry.
  • – 11.00am-2.30pm: St Mary With St Alban Christmas Bazaar, St Mary’s Parish Hall
  • Langham Road, Teddington TW11: A great festive event, children can enjoy the magical Santa’s Grotto, with numerous festive activities such as face painting and Christmas crafts. You can keep warm with a hog roast or some homemade soup and mulled wine, and sample some of the delicious homemade cakes, jams and chutneys on offer. Books galore, nearly new children’s toys and equipment, festive crafts, some wonderful raffle prizes – and lots more. Entry £1.00 per person (children free).
  • – 12.00-3.00pm: All Saints’ Christmas Bazaar, Hampton
  • The Avenue, Hampton TW12: Christmas lunches, cakes, mulled wine & mince pies, bric-a-brac, tombola, Father Christmas, books, carol singing, raffle, children’s entertainer & activities. Everyone welcome. Entry 50p per person (children free).

Sunday 25th November

  • – 10.00am-4.00pm: Strawberry Hill House & St Mary’s Christmas Fair, Strawberry Hill House
  • Waldegrave Road, Strawberry Hill TW1: Now in its fourth year, the Strawberry Hill House Christmas Fair is becoming a local institution. An event to enjoy shopping for original Christmas gifts for family and friends in a stunning location. Entry £4.00 per person.
  • – 12.00-6.00pm: Light Up Whitton
  • Various locations, TW2: The official Xmas Light Switch On Event! Fun for all the family. Christmas market with over 30 stalls. Children’s fairground rides. Royal Military School of Music. Local schools carol concert. Mulled wine, hot food and bar. Christmas gifts. Santa Claus. Face painting. Special guest to turn lights on.
  • – 2.00-6.00pm: Christmas Lights Switch On Event, Twickenham Town Centre
  • Various locations, Twickenham TW1/2: An afternoon of festivities on Twickenham Green, King Street (Water Lane) and Diamond Jubilee Gardens. From 2.00pm there will be music and stage performances, free games, giveaways, face painting, enchanting Christmas entertainment, market stalls, a giant snow globe and Santa’s grotto. Also free Santa’s Express Land Train Rides and much much more. King Street Christmas tree switch on at 5.30pm. Free live shows with illustrator Axel Scheffler at 12.30, 2.30 & 4.30pm at Diamond Jubilee Gardens. Twickenham Green Christmas tree switch on at 4.40pm.

Thursday 29th November

  • – 4.00-8.00pm: Lights Up and Shopping Event, Teddington Town Centre
  • Various locations, Teddington TW11: The High Street will become a pedestrian precinct and will be closed to traffic from 5.30-8.00pm, and local traders will be open until late. Broad Street traders will also be participating from the earlier time of 4.00pm onwards. The Christmas tree, kindly sponsored by the Lensbury Club, will be in its usual prominent position outside the old Post Office on the junction with Elmfield Avenue. The actual lights switch-on by the Deputy Mayor of Richmond is planned for 6.00pm. Among the musical acts performing on the night will be the Teddington Gospel Choir with the Rev Azariah France-Williams, plus Pauline & the Imaginary Friends, well-known for their interactive performances. And as in previous years, Radio Jackie will also be present.

Friday 30th November

  • – 5.00-8.30pm: Christmas Event & Parade, Hampton Hill
  • High Street, Hampton Hill TW12: Live music, festive food stalls, vintage car show, fairground rides, craft stalls, pony rides, and lots more. The Christmas tree lights will be switched on at 6.00pm, and the parade starts at 6.30pm. Festivities from 5.00pm. Road closure from 5.30-8.30pm.

Saturday 1st December

  • – 10.30am-1.30pm: Elleray Hall Christmas Fair, Teddington
  • Elleray Road, Teddington TW11: Elleray Hall Social Club’s annual Christmas fair. Stalls include jewellery, home-made cakes, crafts, Christmas gifts, a selection of games, a bargain stall, Christmas raffle and refreshments. Money raised will help provide services for the local community. Entry £1 per person (children free).

Sunday 2nd December

Friday 7th December – Sunday 9th December

  • – 10.00am-6.00pm (Friday & Saturday) & 10.00am-4.30pm (Sunday): Festive Fayre, Hampton Court Palace
  • East Moseley KT8: Enjoy a big helping of festive spirit as the palace courtyards will be transformed into a stunning festive food lover’s wonderland, full of delicious artisan food and drink and inspiring seasonal cookery demonstrations. Eat, drink and be merry, all whilst soaking up the atmosphere and spirit of the season, with sing-along festive classics on the Courtyard Bandstand, live cooking demonstrations in the Kitchen and carol singing by local choirs. Entry included in your Hampton Court Palace admission ticket.
  • – 5.00-8.00pm (Friday), 10.00am-7.00pm (Saturday), 10.00-6.00pm (Sunday): Skating & Christmas Fair, Collis School
  • Fairfax Road, Teddington TW11: BBQ, mulled wine, barrister coffee, speciality teas, real hot chocolate available throughout the weekend, and Christmas market stalls are open during the skating hours above. £8.00 per skater (skaters must be 4+yrs; 4-8yrs to be accompanied by an adult). On Saturday from 11.00am-4.00pm, the Christmas Fair will also be running, with Christmas tree sale, Santa’s grotto, horse-riding, children’s games, bottle and chocolate tombola, BBQ, mulled wine, and cafe bar.

Saturday 8th December

  • – 1.30-5.00pm: Craft Fair, Twickenham
  • St Mary’s Church Hall, Church Street, Twickenham TW1: Unique Christmas gifts, local crafters, handmade items. Free entry.

Sunday 9th December

  • – 11.00am-5.00pm: Christmas Fair, Church Street, Twickenham
  • Church Street, Twickenham TW1: Church Street will be celebrating the start of the Christmas Season. There will a great variety of craft stalls from local artists as well as local businesses and the Church Street traders will also be getting into the Christmas Spirit with tempting gifts, offers and displays. There will be plenty of Christmas entertainment for everyone with live music from local bands, face painting, glitter tattoos, crafts for children, and Punch & Judy. The Street will be pedestrianised and it is free entry.
  • – 11.00am-5.00pm: St Margaret’s Christmas Fair
  • Crown Road, St Margaret’s TW1: The annual St Margarets Christmas Fair returns for a day full of festive fun. Shopping, food, drink and plenty of amazing live music will fill Crown Road once again. Be sure to join in on this magical day and get into the festive spirit.
