Monday 7th November

  • – 8.00-10.30pm: Mistletoe & Wine Luxury Shopping Evening, Teddington
  • The King’s Head, 123 High Street, Teddington TW11: A wonderful evening full of festive cheer and gorgeous gifts from a beautiful range of specially selected local businesses.

Thursday 10th November

  • – 7.00-11.00pm: Funky Mothers Girls Night Out Shopping Event, St Margarets
  • The Turk’s Head, 28 Winchester Road, St Margarets TW1: Grab some friends and go along to a night out with the girls where you can shop and be pampered by local ladies. Have your nails done, have a massage, or get organised and do some early Christmas Shopping! The bar will be open and food will be available on the night.

Saturday & Sunday 12th/13th November

  • – 11.00am-4.00pm: Christmas Arts & Crafts Fair, Strawberry Hill House
  • Waldegrave Road, Strawberry Hill TW1: Over 45 artists and makers selling original gifts in stunning gothic surroundings. The gothic castle will house a unique range of Christmas gifts for sale, children’s arts and crafts activities, live music, and delicious Christmas fare from local producers. Entry £3.00 per person.

Friday to Sunday 18th-20th November

  • – 6.00-8.00pm (Friday) & 10.00am-5.00pm (Saturday & Sunday): Sparkle Contemporary Craft & Gourmet Food Fair, Teddington
  • Landmark Arts Centre, Ferry Road TW11: a dazzling range of work from more than 75 designer makers including jewellery, glass, ceramics, stylish accessories and so much more, plus a mouth-watering selection of gourmet food. Hundreds of bright and bold gift ideas. Entry £4.00 per person (under 16s free).

Thursday 24th November

  • – 4.00-9.00pm: Lights Up and Shopping Event, Teddington
  • Various locations, Teddington TW11: Cedar Road car park will have food and stalls from 4.00-9.00pm. Teddington High Street will be closed to traffic and shops open all evening from 5.30-9.00pm. Elmfield Gardens hosts the lights switch on from 6.00-6.30pm, with the Mayor Of Richmond & Team GB Olympic Medalists; master of ceremonies Mrs Claus; and live music The River.

Friday 25th November

  • 4.45-5.45pm: Christmas Lights Switch-On, East Twickenham
  • Foot of Richmond Bridge, Richmond Road TW1: The Mayor of Richmond will open proceedings, followed by Father Christmas, carol singers, mulled wine, mince pies, children’s luck dip, music and much more.
  • 5.00-9.00pm: Christmas Event & Parade, Hampton Hill
  • High Street, Hampton Hill TW12: Christmas carols, a fantastic brass band, The Rock Choir, outdoor and indoor markets, the impressive vintage car show, children’s entertainment, dressed up doggies, Santa’s grotto and the return of the much loved helter skelter. The parade will be bigger than ever with plenty of festive cheer for all the family. Festivities from 5.00pm. Road closure from 5.30pm. Parade at 7.00pm.

Saturday 26th November

  • – 11.00am-2.30pm: Christmas Bazaar, Teddington
  • St Mary’s Parish Hall, Langham Road, Teddington TW11: More details to follow.
  • – 11.00am-5.00pm: Christmas Craft Fair, Teddington
  • Normansfield Theatre, Langdon Park TW11: A magical wonderland of Christmas crafts and gifts, with approximately 29 stalls selling cards, prints, gifts, ornaments, tableware, food, Christmas decorations, handbags, and so much more. There will also be a coffee shop selling delicious refreshments and books, a tombola and a craft area for children to make a christmas decoration (small charge per child). Entry free.
  • – 12.00-2.30pm: All Saints’ Christmas Bazaar, Hampton
  • The Avenue, Hampton TW12: Christmas fun for all the family. Stalls including Christmas gifts, crafts, cakes, mince pies, children’s entertainment, carol singing and much more.
  • – 1.00-4.00pm: Hampton Hill Junior School’s Christmas Fair, Hampton Hill
  • St James’ Avenue, Hampton Hill TW12: We don’t have this year’s details but last year the fair includes a children’s mini market, Christmas shopping stalls, luxury hamper raffle, glitter face painting, mulled wine, Christmas puddings, chocolate tombola, games, bouncy castle, hot dogs, and refreshments.

Sunday 27th November

  • – 11.30am-3.00pm: Christmas Market, Twickenham
  • St James’s Catholic Church, 61 Popes Grove, Twickenham TW1: A festive afternoon spread over two halls. Something for everyone including a grand draw, tombolas & auction; gifts, wrap & cards; Christmas tree ordering; designer nearly new clothes; live music; lots to eat and drink; and activities for the kids – including Santa’s grotto (£4.00 including gift & photo), princess make-overs, and arts & crafts. Entrance £1.00 per adult (children free).
  • – 2.00-6.00pm: Christmas Lights Switch On Event, Twickenham
  • Various locations, Twickenham TW1 & TW2: An afternoon of free family fun! Train rides, Santa, reindeer and more! Christmas market and Santa’s grotto from 12.00pm, face painting from 1.00pm, and live entertainment from 2.30pm on King Street. Free rides on The Christmas Train from 1.00pm. Join Axel Scheffler reading and drawing from his and author Julia Donaldson’s latest book – Zog and the Flying Doctors – at free live shows at 2.00pm, 3.30pm, 5.00pm in Diamond Jubilee Gardens (tickets available from 11.00am). There will also be live reindeer and the ever-popular snow machine. Church Street will be closed to traffic and some of the businesses will be spilling out onto the street with their wares. Over on The Green there will be The Three Kings & Their Camels from 3.00pm, local community stalls with carols, and The Green Christmas tree being switched on at 4.40pm. Finally, the main event is the switching on of the main King Street Christmas tree at 5.30pm! LBC’s chatty man Steve Allen and the slightly less chatty but very animated Zog will be helping to light up Twickenham this year.
  • – 12.00-6.00pm: Light Up Whitton
  • Various locations, TW2: Stalls, kids rides, Santa’s grotto, Kneller Hall Band, WBA bar, live entertainment, pass the parcel and general ho ho ho!

Saturday & Sunday 26th/27th November, and 3rd/4th, 10th/11th & 17th/18th December

  • – 10.00am-7.00pm: Christmas Market, Teddington
  • The Anglers, Teddington TW11: A truly fantastic festive experience – there will be artisans, crafts, family entertainment, carol singers, roasted marshmallows, mulled wine & cider, hog roasts & lots more.

Friday 2nd December

  • – 12.00-8.00pm: Festival Of Light, Twickenham
  • Church Street, Twickenham TW1: A vast array of local artists, crafts people and businesses, and at St Mary’s Church “Christ the Light” event. With Punch & Judy, a children’s carousel, Christmas music and carols from The Kneller Hall Military Band, The Elastic Band, The Richmond Music Trust, and St James School Choir.

Saturday 3rd December

  • – 12.00-3.00pm: St James School Christmas Fair, Twickenham
  • Stanley Road, Twickenham TW2: Lots of festive fun to be had for children of all ages. Over 20 sparkling stalls including Santa’s Magical Grotto, Hook-a-Bauble, Snowman Cinema, Christmas Photo booth and much more. Mulled wine, minced pies and a bottle tombola to keep the grown-ups happy. Entrance £2 per adult, children free.
  • 12.00-4.00pm: St Mary’s University Christmas Community Festival, Twickenham
  • Waldegrave Road, Twickenham TW1: Annual Christmas celebration including funfair rides, live music, Christmas stalls from local businesses and charities, and mulled wine. Rumours are that Father Christmas might also be making an appearance!
  • – 1.00-3.30pm: Collis Primary School’s Christmas Fair, Teddington
  • Fairfax Road, Teddington TW11: Christmas tree sale; tombolas; stalls and games; Lego competition; craft room; Santa’s grotto; BBQ, crepes & refreshments.
  • – 1.30-5.00pm: Craft Fair, Twickenham
  • St Mary’s Church Hall, Church Street, Twickenham TW1: Unique Christmas gifts, local crafters, handmade items. Entry free.
  • – 3.00-8.00pm: Inspiring Isleworth Christmas Market Event
  • Old Isleworth TW7: Big wheel, ice rink, Cinderella’s drawn carriage rides, children’s funfair rides, Santa’s snow globe grotto, market stalls and more. Lights switch-on event starts at 4.00pm.

Sunday 4th December

  • – 4.00-7.00pm: Hampton Village Christmas Celebrations
  • Various locations, Hampton TW12: Roads closed for the event. Loads of ideas for Christmas as well as an opportunity to buy those special gifts early. Many businesses will also be laying on special festive treats and activities for all the family. Santa will tour the village by train before arriving at his grotto in Station Road. The train will then give rides from one end of the village to the other. There will be two stages with live music. Grand festive raffle with loads of great prizes.

Friday to Sunday 9th-11th December

  • – 10.00am-8.00pm (Friday & Saturday) & 10.00am-4.30pm (Sunday): BBC Good Food Festive Fayre, Hampton Court
  • Hampton Court Palace, East Moseley KT8: Stock up the pantry for Christmas from exhibitors including Supreme Sausages, Pig in the Middle and tipples from Pieroth, and enjoy delicious treats from Churros Garcia and Woodhouse Farm Hog Roast. Plus it’s a great chance to pick up great Christmas gifts in the atmospheric Clock Court and enjoy festive entertainment and Christmas carols from local choirs.

Saturday 10th December

  • – 1.00-5.00pm: Chase Bridge Primary School Festive Fair, Twickenham
  • Kneller Road, Twickenham TW2: Kneller Hall Band; Twickenham Gospel Choir; raffle; stalls; fairground rides; mulled wine; hotdogs & burgers; pancakes; winter wonderland; Santa.

Saturday & Sunday 10th/11th December

  • – 11.00am-6.00pm: Winter Wonderland, Twickenham
  • Twickenham Masonic Centre, 150 London Road, Twickenham TW1: A great family fun day out – synthetic skating rink; funfair rides; craft & food stalls; dancing, music & singing; face painting; children’s characters; Santa’s grotto and much much more! Adults £2.50, children free.

Sunday 11th December

  • – 11.00am-4.00pm: St Margaret’s Christmas Fair
  • Crown Road, St Margaret’s TW1: Crown Road will be turned into a winter wonderland. All of the shops and small businesses of the area have decided to put on this extra special event this year, so it will be like nothing you’ve seen before. New ‘never been seen before’ stalls – all of whom can’t wait to delight you with their Christmas offering and lots of mouth watering food stalls. Live music, mulled wine, Santa’s grotto, kids entertainment & rides, and much, much more.

Saturday & Sunday 17th/18th December

  • – 10.00am-3.00pm: Christmas Market, Twickenham
  • The White Swan, Riverside, Twickenham TW1: A wide range of stalls and refreshments in The White Swan’s riverside garden. Local retailers will be set up under a canopy marquee come rain or shine, and will have an array of exciting things on offer.
