Friday to Sunday 17th-19th November

  • – 6.00-8.00pm (Friday) & 10.00am-5.00pm (Saturday & Sunday): Sparkle Contemporary Craft & Gourmet Food Fair, Teddington
  • Landmark Arts Centre, Ferry Road TW11: A dazzling range of contemporary work from more than 70 designer makers including jewellery, glass, ceramics, stylish accessories and so much more, plus a mouth-watering selection of gourmet food. Hundreds of bright and bold gift ideas. Entry £4.00 per person (under 18s free).

Friday 24th November

  • – 5.30pm: Christmas Lights Switch-On, East Twickenham
  • Foot of Richmond Bridge, Richmond Road TW1: The Mayor of Richmond will open proceedings at the foot of Richmond Bridge followed by Father Christmas, carol singers, mulled wine, music and more.
  • – 5.00-8.30pm: Christmas Event & Parade, Hampton Hill
  • High Street, Hampton Hill TW12: Stalls, vintage car show, live music, kids rides, craft fairs and a lot more. All in support of local charities. Festivities from 5.00pm. Road closure from 5.30-8.30pm. Tree lights up at 6.00pm. Parade at 6.30pm.

Saturday 25th November

  • – 10.30am-2.30pm: Christmas Bazaar, Teddington
  • St Mary’s Parish Hall, Langham Road, Teddington TW11: Raffle, tombola, Santa’s grotto, festive handmade crafts & gifts, toys & games, Christmas decorations, nearly new baby & children’s toys, delicious cakes & preserves, homeware & accessories, children’s crafts & activities. Entry £1.00 per person (children free).
  • – 11.00am-4.30pm: Christmas Craft Fair, Teddington
  • Normansfield Theatre, Langdon Park TW11: Ceramics, ornaments, clothing, jewellery, cosmetics, cards, prints, handbags, Christmas decorations, and many more handcrafted gifts. Homemade refreshments. Children’s craft table (£1.00). In support of the Down’s Syndrome Association. Entry free.
  • – 12.00-3.00pm: All Saints’ Christmas Bazaar, Hampton
  • The Avenue, Hampton TW12: Christmas fun for everyone. Crafts, Christmas gifts, toys, games, cakes, mulled wine & mince pies, books, bric a brac, free sessions by children’s entertainer Hartbeeps.

Saturday & Sunday 25th/26th November

  • – 11.00am-4.00pm: Christmas Shopping Weekend, London Museum Of Water & Steam
  • Green Dragon Lane, Brentford TW8: Pick up some unique gifts for all the family at the Museum’s Christmas shopping weekend. Browse the special Museum shop gift collection. Give a gift that last the whole year with their annual pass gift cards, or treat someone to one of their new experience packages. Meet the on-site artists in their studios. And make a day of it with the engines in steam and seasonal fayre in the café.

Sunday 26th November

  • – 10.00am-4.00pm: Christmas Fair, Strawberry Hill House
  • Waldegrave Road, Strawberry Hill TW1: The Fair will once again be taking place in the rooms and grounds of Britain’s finest example of Georgian Gothic revival architecture, offering a unique range of Christmas gifts for sale, children’s arts and crafts activities, live music, and delicious Christmas fare from local producers. Entry £4.00 per person.
  • – 12.00-5.00pm: Christmas Fair, Whitton
  • Various locations, TW2: Kneller Hall Band marching and playing with fanfare; kids rides & entertainment; market stalls; mulled wine; beer tent; Santa’s grotto; live music. Lights on at 4.30pm.
  • – 2.00-6.00pm: Christmas Lights Switch On Event, Twickenham
  • Various locations, Twickenham TW1 & TW2: Twickenham’s fabulous family-friendly event – a festive, fun-packed afternoon! Twickenham Green: Free rides on a Victorian Galloping Horse Carousel; entertainment from The United Reform Church and the Twickenham Green Baptist Church; stalls including food & mulled wine; live music from The Royal Military School Marching Brass Band for the Green’s tree light up at 4.40pm. Diamond Jubilee Gardens: free live shows with Axel Scheffler reading, drawing & signing copies of his latest collaboration with Julia Donaldson, ‘The Ugly Five’ at 2.00pm, 3.30pm and 5.00pm. The Gruffalo will be popping in for a visit, there will be some winter magic with the snow machine and you can meet some of Santa’s live reindeer before they head back to the North Pole! Enjoy a free trip on The Santa Express Land Train on King Street and around the embankment; stroll down the Christmas Market on Water Lane featuring local Twickenham businesses and be sure to visit Santa in his Grotto! Live entertainment from local schools, clubs & choirs on the King Street Stage from 2.00pm while in Johnson’s Shoes you’ll find free face painting. Wander down Church Street as the local traders spill out on to the street and join in the festive fun – try Corto Deli’s delicious Italian hot chocolate & panettoni or Ricardo’s warming mulled wine. Local singing sensation Harry Dolan will perform live from 4.30pm and will be joined by The Royal Military School Marching Brass Band to lead a community singalong of Christmas songs and carols before the big switch on at 5.30pm.

Thursday 30th November

  • – 4.00-9.00pm: Lights Up and Shopping Event, Teddington
  • Various locations, Teddington TW11: More info to follow but in 2016 Cedar Road car park had food and stalls from 4.00-9.00pm. Teddington High Street was closed to traffic and shops open all evening from 5.30-9.00pm. Elmfield Gardens hosted the lights switch on from 6.00-6.30pm.
  • – 6.30-9.00pm: Christmas Lights Switch On Event, St Margarets
  • St Margarets TW1: An evening of carols, mulled wine, mince-pies and late-night shopping in St Margarets, with their first ever Christmas lights switch-on event.

Saturday 2nd December

  • – 12.00-6.00pm: Festival Of Lights Christmas Fair, Twickenham
  • Church Street, Twickenham TW1: A vast array of craft stalls from local artists as well as local businesses and the Church Street traders will also be getting into the Christmas Spirit with tempting gifts, offers and displays. Plenty of Christmas entertainment for everyone with a Santa’s Grotto, face painting & glitter tattoos, live music from local bands, carols, a carousel and Punch and Judy.

Sunday 3rd December

Friday to Sunday 8th-10th December

  • – 10.00am-7.00pm (Friday & Saturday) & 10.00am-4.30pm (Sunday): BBC Good Food Festive Feast, Hampton Court
  • Hampton Court Palace, East Moseley KT8: The perfect start to your seasonal celebrations. Stock up on treats in time for Christmas from artisan producers and pick up great gifts for food lovers. Enjoy entertainment and sing-along carols and festive classics from local choirs, plus be inspired in live cookery demonstrations in the FEAST Kitchen. Experience the wonders of this historic royal palace as part of a delicious day out.

Saturday 9th December

  • – 1.00-4.00pm: Collis Primary School’s Christmas Fair, Teddington
  • Fairfax Road, Teddington TW11: Santa’s grotto, traditional games, hot food, mulled wine, craft area, pony rides, competitions and much more!
  • – 1.30-5.00pm: Craft Fair, Twickenham
  • St Mary’s Church Hall, Church Street, Twickenham TW1: Unique Christmas gifts, local crafters, handmade items. Entry free.

Sunday 10th December

  • – 11.00am-5.00pm: St Margarets Christmas Fair
  • Crown Road, St Margarets TW1: The wonderful Crown Road Christmas Fair is returning! There will be amazing stalls, fantastic live music, great food, plenty of entertainment for the children, and Father Christmas and his reindeer will also be there.
